The controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) is Taton Gıda Tarım San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (details below).
2. Data we process
Quote form entries are not stored on this website. The form prepares a message in your own e-mail program, and it reaches us only when you send it. When you contact us this way, or directly by e-mail or phone, we process: name, company, country, e-mail address, phone number if given, product of interest, estimated quantity and your message.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We use your data to answer your enquiry, handle quotations and samples, and establish a business relationship. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (f).
4. Recipients
We never sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. Data is held on the servers of our e-mail and hosting providers in Türkiye and may be disclosed to authorities where required by law. Transfers outside the EU are based on Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR, as they are necessary to answer your request.
5. Cookies and third-party services
This website uses no cookies, tracking, analytics or advertising tools. Fonts are served from our own server. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, date and time, requested page) for security purposes. Clicking the map link opens Google Maps, where Google's privacy policy applies.
6. Retention
We keep your data for the duration of the business relationship and statutory retention periods, then delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR; KVKK Art. 11). Contact us at info@tatongida.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
